Friend -- You may have heard that the NKT is fundamentalist. This is not true. As with all Buddhists, we try to practise Buddha's teachings as they were traditionally transmitted to us without imposing our own interpretation or omitting anything; however there is a flexibility at our Centres around the world to compromise with the norms of society as necessary to benefit others, which is the antithesis of fundamentalism. This allegation is part of a smear campaign to discredit Geshe Kelsang and the New Kadampa Tradition.
