Subject: Fight smears against the New Kadampa Tradition
You may have heard that Geshe Kelsang didn't do retreat in India but was sick.
Geshe Kelsang said in an interview in 1997, “I did a long retreat for many years in Nepal near the border of Tibet in the Himalayan region. The place is called Bangthog Damthang, and I was sponsored by my sister Dekyi who is now living in Switzerland. Later, I did many long retreats in the Dalhousie mountains near Dharamsala.”
This allegation is part of a smear campaign to discredit Geshe Kelsang and the New Kadampa Tradition.
Learn more about this and other smears and help push back with the truth:
Together we can make sure these negative and divisive attacks don't harm this beautiful Buddhist tradition.
Thanks for your help.
