Subject: Fight smears against the New Kadampa Tradition
Message: Friend -- You may have heard that Geshe Kelsang didn't do retreat in India but was sick. Geshe Kelsang said in an interview in 1997, “I did a long retreat for many years in Nepal near the border of Tibet in the Himalayan region. The place is called Bangthog Damthang, and I was sponsored by my sister Dekyi who is now living in Switzerland. Later, I did many long retreats in the Dalhousie mountains near Dharamsala.” This allegation is part of a smear campaign to discredit Geshe Kelsang and the New Kadampa Tradition. Learn more about this and other smears and help push back with the truth: Together we can make sure these negative and divisive attacks don't harm this beautiful Buddhist tradition. Thanks for your help.
